A Modern Hillside Residence

This modern hillside residence is designed in harmony with its steep terrain in the mountainous village of Maria Luisa, Cebu City. With a total interior space of 996 sqm across five levels, the interiors celebrate material honesty, spatial clarity, and visual continuity—creating a calm, immersive environment that is rooted in nature and modern living.

​Key Interior Spaces:

Kitchen & Dining
A clean, modern space featuring natural wood finishes, marble countertops, and matte black accents. Open shelving and a central island mirror the home’s architectural materiality, with large windows framing landscape views.

Foyer & Circulation
Defined by a sculptural staircase and stepped ceiling planes, the foyer acts as a transition zone that reflects the home’s vertical flow and hillside layout.

Living & Study Area
An open-concept zone with soaring ceilings, soft drapery, and a custom-built study nook. The space feels expansive and grounded, united by a warm, natural palette that reflects the exterior’s wood-and-stone facade.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
A serene private retreat with vertical wood slats, minimalist furnishings, and soft neutral finishes. The bathroom features natural stone and floating elements, reinforcing the design’s clean yet organic language.
