A Modern Hillside Residence

Perched gracefully on a sloping hillside, Elevate House is a testament to modern architectural ingenuity, structural resilience, and seamless integration with nature. Spanning a total floor area of 920 square meters across five levels, the residence is a multi-level contemporary home that balances strength and elegance, blending reinforced concrete with natural materials to create a refined yet grounded aesthetic.

​Structural Expression & Materiality

At the core of the design is an exposed reinforced concrete framework, which establishes a sense of solidity and permanence. The use of raw concrete, complemented by warm wooden soffits and expansive glass panels, creates a striking contrast between industrial strength and natural warmth. The home’s green retaining wall, visible from below the terrace, serves both an aesthetic and functional purpose—softening the visual impact of the structure while reinforcing the land.

The material palette is carefully curated to enhance both durability and design clarity:

• Reinforced concrete provides structural integrity and a minimalist modern appeal.

• Glass curtain walls introduce transparency, blurring the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces.

• Wood accents add warmth, offering a tactile counterpoint to the raw concrete.

• Steel railings and cantilevered balconies emphasize lightness and openness.​
