An outdoor food court on the streets of Cebu City, Philippines that uses a colorful design technique with recycled container van walls. This industrial styled architecture lets the food vendors make do with retrofitted shipping containers, and diners eat 'outside' on the shaded al fresco court. The functional purpose of this is for outdoor dining combined with a business model that gives priority to low startup costs. By using shipping containers as a green building practice, building with them gives a secondary purpose and reuses the steel without the need for reprocessing. Seeing that a whole fortress of them makes an entertaining and dining oasis, shipping containers are now the modern architectural choice for restaurant builds.
